Yamini Krishnamurthy is one the earliest traditional artists in India🇮🇳.

Krishnamurthy 😍began her dance💃 vocation with a Bharatanatyam 🇮🇳execution in Madras in 1957.

 A portion of her Masters during this period included Kanchipuram Ellappa Pillai, Kittappa Pillai, Dhandayuthapani Pillai, and Mylapore Gowri Ammal.

   However she began😍🇮🇳 with Bharatnatyam, Krishnamurthy extended her abilities to incorporate Kuchipudi 🇮🇳💃and Odissi dance structures. She is noted to have advocated these dance structures in North India 🇮🇳during the 1960s when she moved to Delhi

    After one of her exhibitions in the public capital,🇮🇳 the meeting Canadian state leader Pierre Trudeau is noted to have gone to the stage, held her hands and commented,

   

     "Continue to move. Try not to stop. Simply hold dancing".[

   notwithstanding the country, 🇮🇳her exhibitions took her to different nations including the US, the UK, the then USSR, Thailand, and Pakistan.

In acknowledgment of her commitments, she was designated as the Asthana Nartaki (transl. occupant artist) of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.🇮🇳

     She set up her own dance💃 preparing organization, Yamini School of Dance, in Hauz Khas in New Delhi.🇮🇳

Krishnamurthy💃 was a beneficiary of the Padma Shri (1968),
